Dear Councillor

You are hereby summoned to attend the next meeting of Roughton Parish Council, which will be held on Thursday 10th August commencing at 7.30 pm in the Village Hall on Main Street, Roughton. The business to be dealt with at the meeting is listed in the agenda.

There will be a 15 minute public forum between 7.30 and 7.45 pm when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council, and your attendance is also requested during this period.

AGENDA

1.   To allow a period of public participation for up to 15 minutes.

2.   Chairman’s welcome and remarks

3.   Apologies for absence received and to approve those with good reason for absence.

4.   To receive declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and to consider any requests for dispensations.

5.    Notes of the meetings held on  25th May 2023 to be approved as minutes.

6.    To receive a written or oral reports from Lincolnshire County Council and East Lindsey District Council

7.    Financial matters:

a.   Bank balances and signing of statements

b.   Retrospective and current payments to be approved

c.   Bank signatory paperwork update

8.   Planning Matters:

9.   To consider and resolve further action on traffic management issues

•   Community Speed Watch group
•   Update from Highways visit and representations from Thornton residents

10.   To consider the LCC request to update the drainage records

11.   To note the LCC offer for litter picking kits for Roughton parish area

12.   To consider and approve work being undertaken to John Read’s bench

13.   To consider LCC grass-cutting issue raised by residents at Mill Close

14.   To receive and note correspondence.

15.   To approve any training courses.

16.   To approve the delayed signing of any Declarations of Acceptance of Office in accordance with S.83 (4) Local Government Act 1972 (if required).

17.   To consider any eligible persons for co-option to the parish council.

18.   To note the meeting room bookings and the date of the next meeting and suggest items for the agenda  21st September 2023.
