NOTICE OF MEETING
Dear Councillor
You are hereby summoned to attend the next meeting of Roughton Parish Council, which will be held on Thursday 16th January 2025 commencing at 7.30 pm in the Village Hall on Main Street, Roughton. The business to be dealt with at the meeting is listed in the agenda.
There will be a 15 minute public forum between 7.30 and 7.45 pm when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council, and your attendance is also requested during this period.

1. Chairman’s remarks
2. Apologies for absence and acceptance of any reasons given
3. To receive Declarations of Interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and to consider any requests for dispensations.
4. Notes of the last meeting held on 21st November 2024 to be approved as minutes.
5. To receive a report from Lincolnshire County Council and East Lindsey District Council
6. Financial matters:
a. Bank balances and signing of bank statements
b. Retrospective and Future payments to be approved
c. To set the Precept for 2025-2026
d. To set up new signatories for banking
7. Planning Matters:

Planning applications received after the publication of this agenda will be considered at the Council meeting.
8. To consider the effectiveness of the newsletter in terms of content and any delivery issues encountered.
9. To consider Highway issues;
Increase in the volume of lorries using 50 acre road to Horncastle
HGV signage for Roughton
10. To note LCC’s budget proposals for 2025-2026 and opportunity to respond by 28th January 2025.
11. To discuss lack of clearance of felled trees on the Spa Trail and action to be considered by the Council.
12. To note correspondence received by the Clerk; ELDC Media Releases, Town and Parish News, LALC Training Bulletin.
13. To confirm the date of the next meeting as Thursday 20th March 2025 at 7.30 p.m.
